About Us
Form & Imprint is a Chicago based collective dedicated to artists’ books, prints and multiples. As artists, designers and printers we merge traditional and experimental approaches, pushing the boundaries of print and book arts while fostering innovation and collaboration.

Myungah Hyon, co-author of Book Book and Kaleido_Book, blends printmaking with innovative bookmaking, transforming paper into immersive experiences. As an artist and educator she shares her passion internationally through exhibitions, workshops, and lectures. She has taught artists books at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for over twenty years.

Brian Rush, artist and printmaker, launched No Rush Press in 2022, focusing on fine art editions and self-publishing. His work emphasizes publishing as a creative and collaborative practice. He has over a decade of experience teaching offset printing, lithography and screenprinting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Jess Giffin and Jim TerMeer (studio giffin’termeer) create artists’ books and multiples, prints and designed objects. Their internationally exhibited work explores the interplay of image, object, and structure often through experimental techniques. Jess Gffin and Jim TerMeer are both faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they have taught design and printmaking since 2009.
